Miguel Torres Chile, the renowned family winery located in the Curicó Valley, is celebrating a new worldwide milestone: its new wine, Miguel Torres Chile. Inquietos Field 01 Blend vintage 2021 was highlighted by the renowned critic James Suckling in his recent report Chile's 100 best wines 2025: The rise of world-class whitesThe team was ranked number four in the Top 5 ranking, with an outstanding 96 points.

This important achievement reaffirms the quality achieved in the winery's most recent projects, led by technical director Eduardo Jordán and his winemaking team, consolidating Miguel Torres Chile as a benchmark on the national and international wine scene.

"This recognition validates the agricultural, technical and oenological work behind Inquietos, and reflects the constant commitment of our team and Familia Torres in general to excellence, sustainability and the creation of wines that express identity and territory", says Jordán.

A wine with history and unique character

The line Restless was born out of Miguel Torres Chile's curiosity and constant search for unique wines from singular vineyards with minimal intervention.

In particular, Inquietos Field Blend 2021 comes from the Limávida vineyard, planted in 1945, without grafting, in the coastal dry land of the Maule Valley, specifically in the Colín de Limávida sector in Curepto.

It is a field mixture with a predominance of Malbecaccompanied by Cabernet sauvignon and a small proportion of Romano. Made with native yeasts, it was macerated for 23 days and aged for 18 months in second-use German oak foudres, respecting the origin and with minimal intervention.

“This is something special. Nose of great aromatic depth with mineral notes, white pepper, rosemary, Mediterranean herbs and fresh red fruits alongside acidic blue fruits. No fruity sweetness, firm tannins with a mineral character and vibrant acidity. Long, clean and precise finish", said Zekun Shuai, senior editor of JamesSuckling.com.

Only 6,000 bottles of this vintage were produced, which accentuates the exclusive character of this wine that, from its origin, seeks to push the boundaries and offer a unique experience to those who discover it.

Available in the online shop www.grandesterrunos.cl and at the culinary embassies of La Bodeguita Miguel Torres in Curicó and Vitacura.
