From 4 to 7 NovemberThe Chilean capital will host professionals, academics and representatives from twelve wine-producing countries at this meeting, which will consolidate itself as a key space for sharing experiences, advances and visions that will mark the future of wine in the region.
During the four days of the XVII Latin American Congress of Viticulture and Oenology, attendees will enjoy keynote lectures by international experts and more than 200 research papers.
There will also be sessions on sensory analysis, biotechnology, consumer trends and communication, along with networking spaces, technical tastings and a field trip to discover the diversity of Chilean vineyards.
Among the highlights was the participation of Dr. Mango Parker, an Australian pioneer in the study of the impact of smoke on wine; Yvette van der Merwe, President of OIVand experts from universities in the United States, France and Spain, who will share tools and perspectives for a more sustainable and competitive industry.

Felipe Laurie, member of the scientific committee, comments that for this edition "we received a large number of abstracts of excellent scientific and technical level, which anticipates an enriching and interesting congress that will allow us to share experiences, generate collaborations and contribute to the development of the wine sector".

Includes access to lectures, forums and coffee breaksThe event will include: technical wine and Pisco tastings; lunches on 5 and 6 November accompanied by wines from partner wineries, as well as the field trip (transfer, picnic and visit) during the afternoon of the last day, to discover on the ground what Chile has to tell and show both in vineyards and wineries.
The congress is open to students, professionals and actors in the sector who wish to connect, learn and contribute to the development of Latin American viticulture.
