The 26th Grape Harvest Festival celebrated the 2026 harvest and commemorated 30 years of the Colchagua Wine Route, founded in 1996 and today consolidated as one of the main tourist and enological engines of the country.
For three days, the Colchagua Valley it lived a special version of its most emblematic vintage, with the Plaza de Armas of Santa Cruz as its epicentre.
The event transformed into a meeting point for wine lovers, tourists and families who came to enjoy a proposition that sought to raise the standard of the event with a more sophisticated and visitor-focused experience.
“We are very happy with the outcome of this edition, which was a real success both in terms of attendance and the experience we had with thousands of visitors. Over the three days, we celebrated our wines, local gastronomy, and a very diverse artistic offering, which combined folklore, jazz, blues, rock, and funk, creating a festive atmosphere that reflected the valley's identity,” stated María Ignacia Eyzaguirre, president of the Colchagua Wine Association AG.
One of the great milestones of this edition was the new Premium Bar, which became one of the most prominent spaces at the party.
There, visitors could experience something more exclusive and sophisticated, with unlimited tasting of high-end wines guided by sommeliers, in a carefully designed environment with a more electronic and festive musical selection that added freshness and energy to the celebration. It was a very produced, elegant space, befitting the quality of the Colchagua wines.

Thirty years of history
Additionally, this version had special significance because “we are celebrating 30 years of the Colchagua Wine Route, an initiative that since 1996 has promoted wine tourism and has positioned the valley as one of the most important wine destinations in Latin America,” Eyzaguirre stated.
Nineteen member vineyards participated in this edition, presenting iconic wines and high-end labels, alongside guided tastings by sommeliers. The artistic programme included live music — jazz, blues, ballads, and folk — creating a festive atmosphere that invited visitors to stroll through the square and enjoy local wine and gastronomy.
The Grape Harvest Festival developed as an open event in the Plaza de Armas and surrounding streets of Santa Cruz, allowing thousands of people to enjoy the festive atmosphere. For the tastings, the public had access to different options: the Vendimia Cup, the Colchagua Cup, and the Premium Cup. The latter offered access to the new Premium Bar, a specially decorated area with continuous music and unlimited tasting of high-end wines accompanied by sommeliers.
The commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Wine Route highlighted the history and international projection of Colchagua, now recognised as one of the main wine tourism destinations in Latin America.
In this edition, the wineries from the valley present were Casa Silva, Lapostolle, Montes, Los Vascos, Ventisquero, Santa Cruz, Siegel, Luis Felipe Edwards, Sutil, Ravanal, Encierra, Polkura, Laura Hartwig, Escondida, La Despensa, Ranquilhue, Alchemysta, Los Chanchitos and La Sirca, representing the diversity and enological quality of the Colchagua Valley.
