The Chilean vineyard Terranoble consolidates its international prestige with a new milestone: its oenologist Marcelo García was recognised in The Master Winemaker 100the prestigious selection of the British magazine The Drinks Business which highlights the 100 best winemakers in the world.

Of those selected globally, only five are Chilean, and García is one of them, reaffirming Terranoble's commitment to the production of high-end wines.

The award was given in the category CarmenèreChile's emblematic grape variety and the cornerstone of Terranoble's portfolio, which includes the wine CA2 Costa Carmenère 2021recently awarded as Global Master Carmenère 2024. With a philosophy of respect for variety and terroir, the winery has perfected its approach over more than three decades, achieving fresh, fruity and balanced wines.

"This recognition rewards all the work we have done in recent years: changing styles, refining techniques and putting Carmenère in the place it deserves," says Marcelo García.

A new commitment: opening the doors to wine tourism

As part of its national positioning strategy, Terranoble has embarked on a new phase with the launch of its wine tourism area at the Maule Valleyspecifically at its La Higuera field in San Clemente, which has been open to the public for 18 months.

The winery offers four exclusive experiences, including vineyard and winery tours and tastings of Gran Reserva and Premium wines, in programmes that highlight the winery's DNA: the passion for Carmenère.

"We want visitors to experience the essence of our winery and become ambassadors of Terranoble," says Alejandro Abarca, general manager of the winery. The public's response has been highly positive, and the winery plans to consolidate its position as an unmissable experience in the region.

Tours include vineyard tours, winery visits and specialised tastings, with 4 options: Exploring excellence, The charm of cold weather, Getting to know the Maule and Passion for Carmenère.

"Each programme is designed to allow visitors to experience the essence of our winery. We want our visitors not only to enjoy great wines, but also to become ambassadors of TerraNoble....So far the public response has been very positive. Our goal is to continue growing in this area and consolidate our position as an unmissable experience in the Maule Valley".says Abarca.

With 90% of its production exported to more than 36 markets, this new facet seeks to expand its presence in Chile and further strengthen the link between wine, territory and community.
