In the heart of the Casablanca Valley, Viña Emiliana -the largest organic vineyard in the world- presents a varied proposal of activities for this autumn.

In a natural setting marked by the colours of the season, visitors can tour the pesticide-free vineyard and learn about the principles of organic agriculture that define its philosophy.

Among the outstanding experiences is the organic tasting tourThe tour includes a visit to the vineyards to learn about sustainable practices, types of soil, varieties planted and the climate of the valley. In addition, you will visit the organic vegetable garden, the biodynamic preparations sector and interact with the animals, which contribute to the biodiversity of the place.

The activity ends with a tasting of four wines (two whites and two reds), including labels such as Adobe, Coyam and 57 Rocas ($35.000 per person, from Tuesday to Saturday at three times: 10:30, 12:30 and 14:30).

Another option is to participate in the premium wine tastingwhich also includes the tour, followed by a tasting of five wines, including Ícono Gê, the first biodynamic wine in Latin America. The price is $40.000 per person, with the same days and times available as the previous tour.

One of the novelties of this season is the Make your own wine experiencewhich allows participants to become winemakers for a day. In the tasting room, equipped with specialised instruments, visitors can create their own blend from three varieties of red wine, design a personalised label and bottle their own 750 ml bottle.

The activity includes tasting, charcuterie board and personalised wine for $50.000 per person. Starts at 12:00 pm.

Sustainable and close experiences

For those who are looking for an outdoor experience, Emiliana also offers a autumn picnic in their fields.

The package includes two sandwiches of your choice (salmon, vegetarian or Mediterranean), nuts, cheeses, two desserts prepared in the vineyard and a bottle of wine. This activity has a value of $50.000.

"More than a visit, we offer an experience that highlights the value of our way of making wine: conscious, sustainable and close. This is the essence of Emiliana, and the winter season is a great time to get to know it," said José Eyzaguirre, assistant marketing manager.

Emiliana is located on the north side of Route 68, kilometre 60.7, in the Casablanca Valley. More information on activities, opening hours and reservations at http://www.emiliana.cl.
