{"id":4603,"date":"2026-02-22T19:42:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T22:42:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dechilealpaladar.cl\/?p=4603"},"modified":"2026-02-28T23:40:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-01T02:40:47","slug":"chile-joins-the-challenge-for-a-more-sustainable-hospitality-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dechilealpaladar.cl\/en\/chile-se-suma-a-desafio-por-una-hosteleria-mas-sostenible\/","title":{"rendered":"Chile joins the challenge for a more sustainable hospitality industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time, Chile joins the <em>Torres Brandy Zero Challenge<\/em>, The initiative is an international initiative that seeks to promote projects with a positive impact on sustainability in the world of hospitality, calling on professionals from bars, restaurants, hotels and caf\u00e9s to propose innovative solutions to the environmental and social challenges of the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Torres Brandy Zero Challenge<\/em> is part of a global programme of the Torres Brandy brand, aimed at promoting responsible practices and more conscious business models, addressing issues such as energy efficiency, waste management, reuse of materials, social impact and integral sustainability in the gastronomy and hotel industry.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the competition already has four finalists, all professionals in the sector, who applied by submitting projects that contribute to a more sustainable hospitality industry, aligned with the current challenges of the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The Chilean final will take place on Wednesday 26 February at the Renaissance Hotel, where the four competitors will present their proposals to a specialised jury.
