In line with the growing global trend towards alcohol-free alternatives and more balanced lifestyles, Santa Ema Vineyard has just presented Sorcerer, its first line of de-alcoholised wines.

Available in White, Rosé and Red Blend, each with only 14 calories per glass, it offers a new way to enjoy without sacrificing the pleasure and distinctive taste of wine.

This launch responds to an international trend showing an increase in demand for non-alcoholic beverages. According to industry data, the global market for de-alcoholised wines is growing at double digits, driven by a consumer increasingly attracted to zero alcohol beverages.

“In Chile, this category is still developing, and Santa Ema is firmly joining the revolution in the consumption of non-alcoholic beverages by incorporating a product that stands out for its quality and innovation”.” said Javier Movillo, Marketing Manager of Viña Santa Ema.

Aligned with new trends

He also pointed out that this launch represents a strategic decision that allows the company to align itself with changes in consumer habits, connect with those seeking healthier alternatives and expand the winery's presence in national and international markets.

An authentic and sophisticated experience that celebrates wine in its essence, without alcohol.

Hechizero combines innovation, tradition and a vision of the future, strengthening Santa Ema's position as a modern and forward-looking winery.

In the same vein, a process is used for its production that combines fermentation at low temperatures with reverse osmosis and stripping techniques, methods that allow the alcohol to be removed while preserving the aromas, structure and character of the wine and preserving the flavours of the grape variety used.

Available in three versatile versions - perfect to enjoy on their own or as a base for mocktails - Hechizero de-alcoholised wines offer freshness and authenticity in every glass. Hechizero Red Blend stands out for its deep red colour, notes of blackberry, plum and blueberry, and a balanced mouthfeel typical of the Maipo Valley.

Hechizero White, from the Central Valley, stands out for its freshness, natural acidity and vibrant aromatic profile, ideal for light, citrusy mixes. Hechizero Rosé, also from the Central Valley, brings a fresh, fruity character with balanced acidity and a Mediterranean style that makes it a lively choice for non-alcoholic cocktails.

The three varieties will be available in supermarkets from December and can already be found in the Wine Shop of Viña Santa Ema (Balmaceda 1950, Isla de Maipo) and at shop.santaema.cl. It is priced at $8,990 per 750 ml bottle and $4,990 for the 375 ml format.
