Chile launches Map and Calendar of Grape Harvest Festivals 2026

With both, plus the expansion of the Wine Harvest Seal and the strengthening of information on the public attending, our country is taking a key step towards the professionalisation and modernisation of the Wine Harvest Festival as a tourist product of excellence and growing international projection.

Chile today gave new impetus to wine tourism with the launch of the Vintage Calendar 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited cultural and tourist events of the year.

The activity, held at the Casa del Turismo in the national capital, brought together authorities, representatives of the wine valleys and actors of the sector to present the novelties of the season and reveal trends that are marking the growth of wine tourism in the country.

The most important announcement of the day was the presentation of the new Interactive Harvest Map, available at www.enoturismochile.cl, The new tool completely changes the way people can discover, plan and experience these celebrations.

The register gathers detailed information on each festival -programming, activities, how to get there, tourist offer of the valley and direct access to the purchase of tickets- making it a dynamic, intuitive resource aligned with the new demands of the public. By 2026, the calendar already brings together 31 confirmed grape harvests between Tarapacá and La Araucanía, This figure will continue to grow as territories update their dates.

The launch was also attended by representatives of the winners of the Harvest Festival Seal 2025 -Colchagua, Curicó, Valle de Casablanca, Valle del Maipo, Isla de Maipo, Portezuelo, Marchigüe and the University Festival of the Colchagua Campus - who shared their experience as territories certified under the Good Practices Manual. Their participation sought to make visible the impact of the standard on the professionalisation of these celebrations and to encourage new municipalities and organisations to apply.

During the event, the official announcement was made of the Start of the application process for the Wine Harvest Seal 2026, The period shall run from 29 December 2025 and 16 January 2026, including the renewal of already certified festivals. All information will be available on the Enoturismo Chile website.

“The launch of the Harvest Calendar reflects the public-private coordination that Enoturismo Chile is promoting, with more than 30 events already confirmed for the coming year. These celebrations highlight the identity of our fifteen wine valleys and the contribution of entrepreneurs, gastronomy and tourism in each territory. This year we also highlight the strengthening of the Harvest Seal and the presentation of the new Interactive Map, which modernises the public experience and facilitates the planning of each visit,” said Claudio Cilveti, president of Enoturismo Chile.

As part of the presentation, it was announced the Harvest Festival Visitor Profile Infographic, The study, elaborated by Enoturismo Chile together with the Undersecretary of Tourism and the University of Talca, confirms the high level of public interest in these celebrations. The study -developed from surveys carried out at ten official grape harvests- confirms the public's high interest in these celebrations, which in 2025 attracted more than 1.4 million attendees.

The audience is mainly national, with a high female participation and a marked family and friendship group character. There is also a high willingness to consume locally, expressed in the purchase of tickets, tasting glasses and local wines, together with high levels of general satisfaction.

These results reinforce the need to continue to promote the organisational quality, sustainability, cultural management and tourism promotion of the grape harvest, consolidating itself as one of the most highly valued cultural products in the country.

The launch of the 2026 Harvest Calendar coincides with a period of strong expansion of wine tourism in Chile. According to the National Oenotourism Cadastre 2024, there are 219 vineyards open to tourism, This figure grew by 9.5% in one year and accumulates an increase of 132,98% in the last decade. This dynamism, together with the international recognition achieved by the Chilean wine destinations in rankings such as Great Wine Capitals, Forbes and 50 Best Vineyards, The country is now a relevant and competitive player on the world stage.

With the new Interactive Map, the expansion of the Wine Harvest Seal and the strengthening of information on audiences, Chile takes a key step towards the professionalisation and modernisation of the Grape Harvest Festival as a tourist product of excellence and of growing international projection.
