International Earth Day, a date recognised worldwide to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment. At Emiliana, the world's largest organic winery, they are commemorating this 22 April with their campaign "The wine that changed the course of history", of the brands in its organic portfolio.

With the aim of reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, the vineyard stands out for its 100% organic, pesticide-free production with a deep respect for biodiversity.

“At Emiliana, we are committed to the environment every day of the year without neglecting the quality of our products. Our brands are a reflection of all our work for a sustainable agriculture that generates positive impacts on the environment. In addition, our wines are pesticide-free, achieving a balance between nature and human care, focusing on both as part of our strategy."commented Cristian Rodriguez, general manager of Emiliana.

Pioneers in the creation of organic wines, during April, we invite all consumers to be more aware and celebrate this milestone by reinforcing organic viticulture and responsible consumption.

The campaign includes a competition with Jumbo supermarkets where those who purchase Emiliana wines, such as Adobe Reserva, Novas Gran Reserva, among others, in their different varieties, will be participating for one of the four e-bikes that will be raffled. With a focus on maintaining sustainable practices and inviting others to join the action, Emiliana promotes cleaner ways of getting around through electromobility.

Emiliana's commitment

  • Highlighting organic work: We have 100% organic certification for our vineyards and wines, and our vineyards are 100% Regenerative Organic Certified.

  • Aligned with the care of our planet: 61% of our electrical energy used in the vineyards and cellars comes from renewable sources such as solar panels. In addition, 49% of Emiliana's surface area is dedicated to biodiversity.
  • In terms of circular economy: We compost 100% of our organic waste, together with all of our liquid industrial waste. In addition, 99% of our packaging is reusable, compostable or recyclable and we compost 100% of our organic waste for use as fertiliser.
